It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th World Materials Conference (WMC 2027), which will be held from January 24–27, 2027, at the Hainan International Convention & Exhibition Center in Haikou, China.
Organized by the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS), the World Materials Conference (WMC) is a leading international academic conference dedicated to exploring the latest frontiers, scientific breakthroughs, and technological advances in materials science and engineering. Since its establishment in 2023, WMC has rapidly developed into an important global platform for academic exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation in materials research.
The 4th World Materials Conference (WMC 2027) will bring together leading scientists, researchers, engineers, young scholars, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss emerging trends, share cutting-edge discoveries, and explore future opportunities in materials science and technology. The conference will feature a series of high-level events, including the Global Summit of Leading Materials Scientists 2027, the High-level Meeting of Global Materials Society Leaders 2027, the Global Summit of Leading Young Materials Scientists 2027, and the 8th IUMRS International Conference of Young Researchers in Advanced Materials (8th IUMRS-ICYRAM).
