Symposium Introduction

This session focuses on the frontier design, advanced fabrication, and engineering applications of coating materials. It encompasses topics such as the design and preparation of high-performance protective coatings, green, low‑carbon, and sustainable coating materials, multifunctional integrated coating systems, breakthroughs in core raw materials and new paradigms for intelligent design, performance characterization and service‑behavior evaluation of coatings, as well as engineering applications of advanced coatings in the energy and petrochemical sectors. The session aims to establish a high‑level academic exchange platform for researchers and engineers, thereby promoting the evolution of coating materials toward high performance, intelligence, and green sustainability.
