C06-High-Entropy and Amorphous Alloys
Symposium Introduction
Amorphous alloys are disordered alloys developed through rapid solidification and entropy-control concepts, combining the properties of glass, metal, solid, and liquid within a long-range disordered structure. High-entropy alloys, with their unique compositional ratios and microstructures, exhibit excellent properties beyond those of traditional alloys, ordered in structure yet disordered in composition. These multiple characteristics give rise to multiple deformation mechanisms and outstanding performance in mechanical properties, thermal stability, corrosion resistance, and magnetic properties.
As new metallic materials integrating structure and function, amorphous and high-entropy alloys hold great significance and strategic value in both fundamental research and technical application. The development of disordered alloys offers unlimited possibilities for breaking through the performance limits of traditional alloys.
This symposium aims to provide a platform for experts and scholars in the field of disordered alloys to share research results, exchange academic ideas, and promote the research and development of disordered alloys.
