Symposium Introduction

The World Materials Conference (WMC), organized by the Chinese Materials Research Society (C-MRS), is a leading international academic conference focusing on the latest frontiers, scientific advances, and technological developments in materials science and engineering.
The 4th World Materials Conference (WMC 2027) will be held on January 24–27, 2027, at the Hainan International Convention & Exhibition Center, Haikou, China.
This Symposium focuses on the topic of “Additive Manufacturing of Advanced Materials and Structures”, and explores cutting-edge additive manufacturing technologies for advanced structural materials and functional structures. It brings together global academics and industry experts to discuss innovative printing materials, optimized structural design, latest technical breakthroughs and industrial applications. The event aims to promote academic exchange, technical innovation and industrial translation of advanced additive manufacturing technologies.
