4th WMC (2027)

The “Liquid Metal Materials” Symposium will focus on recent advances in the fundamental research, material properties, engineering development, and emerging applications of liquid metals. It aims to provide a high-level academic platform for researchers, engineers, and professionals from industry to exchange research progress, discuss key scientific and technological challenges, and explore future directions in the field.

① Objectives
The symposium aims to promote academic exchange and knowledge dissemination by presenting recent scientific findings, technological developments, and methodological advances related to liquid metals. It will also strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers from different fields and facilitate connections between fundamental research, engineering development, and practical applications. In addition, the symposium will provide opportunities to identify important scientific questions, technological challenges, and emerging research directions.

② Content and Agenda
The symposium will include keynote lectures, invited presentations, technical sessions, panel discussions, and poster presentations. The academic program will cover fundamental and applied topics, including the physicochemical properties of liquid metals, surface and interfacial phenomena, material design and characterization, flexible electronics, thermal management, energy-related technologies, biomedical engineering. These sessions will provide participants with opportunities to present recent research results, exchange technical experience, and discuss current challenges and future development priorities.

③ Expected Outcomes
The symposium is expected to enhance academic communication and strengthen collaboration among researchers and professionals working in liquid-metal-related fields. Through presentations and discussions, participants will gain an updated understanding of recent scientific advances and technological developments. The event is also expected to promote interdisciplinary interaction and contribute to the development of future research directions and applications of liquid metal materials.
